The Apereo Foundation's mission is to foster, develop, and sustain open source technologies and innovate to support learning, teaching, and research. Apereo Foundation acts as a fiscal sponsor for multiple active projects. Each project provides collaborative open source software that supports educational and research efforts. Apereo Foundation is actively involved in community building, education, and public advocacy to promote awareness and the importance of open source software in educational initiatives.
