2020 Apereo Board Election Timetable: Nominations Closed
Nominations closed.
Earlier this year the Apereo Foundation delayed elections for vacant positions on the Foundation Board of Directors due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. A new timeline for the elections has been set, culminating in the Apereo AGM and Board election, which will take place virtually on Monday 16th November at 1500 UTC. Connection details will be mailed to member representatives shortly.
Nominations Open Today, Monday, October 5th
Nominations are open for 3 vacant places on the Apereo Foundation Board of Directors. Lucy Appert of NYU, Jim Helwig of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Laura Gekeler of Notre Dame University all step down this year. All three retiring Board members have served two terms on the Board and are therefore ineligible for re-nomination. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lucy, Jim and Laura for their outstanding service to Apereo and its community over many years.
Close of Nominations Monday, October 19th
Nominations close on Monday 19th October and should be submitted before 1800 UTC on that day. Nominations may be made by members of Apereo or representatives of an Apereo member organisation in good standing. The nominated person does not have to be employed by an Apereo member organisation. If you wish you make a nomination, please check to ensure that the person is willing to stand.

Voting papers and proxy ballot instructions
Voting papers and proxy ballot instructions will be circulated on October 26th. Voting will take place at the Foundation AGM online at 1500 UTC on Monday 16th November. New Directors will be seated at the Apereo Board AGM on December 3rd.
