2021 Apereo Foundation Board Election Timeline

Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to provide advance notice of the timeline for Apereo Foundation Board Elections for 2021. This year, there will be elections for four (4) elected Board members, and an election for an individual member representative. Individual members will be notified of electoral arrangements by separate mail.

6th April - Nominations are open for four (4) vacant places on the Apereo Foundation Board of Directors. The terms of office of Francois Campbell (Opencollab - ZA), Boeta Pretorius (North-West University - ZA), Anne-Marie Scott (Athabasca University - CA) end this year. All three Board members have served one term on the Board and are therefore eligible for re-nomination.

3rd May - Nominations close (1700 UTC)

17th May - Proxy Ballot Papers to organisational voting representatives

4th June - Deadline for receipt of proxy ballot papers

9th June - Election at Foundation AGM, which will be held as part of the program of Open Apereo 21

Further details of the process will be mailed to our announcements list and to member representatives next week.
