2021 Sakai Virtual Conference in Review

The annual Sakai Virtual Conference took place on November 10th, 2021. This online community event was a day of learning, sharing, and networking with fellow Sakai users around the globe. Presentations took place within Big Blue Button virtual meeting rooms where live audio, video, and chat allow participants to get the conference experience without the need to travel. This year's program featured several participatory workshops as well as a number of Lightning Talk sessions on a variety of topics. There were also fun group activities like the online Trivia, online Pictionary, a Photo Contest, and random prize giveaways. All proceeds from the virtual conference go toward Sakai development. If you missed the virtual conference, or if you would like to view any sessions that you didn't get to see live, the recordings will be available on the Sakai YouTube channel. 

The Sakai Virtual Conference had 200 attendees and raised approx. $11,000 for Sakai development.
