You asked, we listened! The Call for Proposals is open NOW in order to produce a final program by January 2017. Get ready to learn new things, make new friends, and share your  experiences implementing and developing open source software at our Open Apereo 2017 conference in Philadelphia, June 4 - 8.

The Open Apereo Conference is an international, inclusive event, providing opportunities for community members to:

  • Present perspectives based on institutional experience, learn from the experience of others, exchange ideas, develop dialogue, and form new partnerships
  • Develop an understanding of multiple areas of the academic enterprise by looking beyond immediate interests and appreciating both commonalities and differences
  • Organize institutional, community-wide, or project-based discussions and collaborative work

This year, we are offering a peer reviewed research track. We are hoping this will both encourage greater participation from faculty as well as enable us to produce more detailed online proceedings that will profile the research-oriented work we do in the community.

DEADLINE AND REVIEW

The final proposal deadline is has been extended to Monday, December 12.

The program committee will review and accept submissions during the open submission period.  Early Bird Proposals entered by October 24 will be eligible for early review decisions by November 18.  The committee expects to have all proposals reviewed and final acceptances by December 16.
