The Open Community Experience (OCX) will bring together developers, researchers, open source leaders, government advocates, and industry partners for a deep exploration of open collaboration across research and technology.
Apereo is co-presenting the Open Community for Research co-located event and looks forward to showcasing the sustainability, impact, and community stewardship of higher education open source projects.
OW2con: European Open Source Conference

OW2con is the European open source conference organized by OW2. An international meeting of developers, IT companies, academics, and non-profit organizations, OW2con brings together the entire open source community during two days of presentations ranging from tech topics to business and ethical issues of open source. It also offers a unique opportunity to establish contact with peers through friendly networking sessions. OW2con is open to all, the event is free and all sessions are held in English.
Once again, Apereo Foundation is leading the Open Source in Education, Science and Research track at OW2Con'26.

Sakai Virtual Conference

Please submit a proposal for this year’s Sakai Virtual Conference! This year, we are soliciting 30 minute presentations and Lightning Talk proposals. (Lightning talks are approximately 7 to 8 minute presentations which will be combined into an exciting and fast-paced conference session.) Our theme this year is interoperability, so we encourage submissions about innovative integrations with Sakai.
The premise of the virtual conference is simple: An Online, Sakai Teaching and Learning focused conference to connect with colleagues across the globe, share stories and best practices, and envision how you might use Sakai in the future. You can enjoy interaction with your peers in the Sakai community, all without leaving home!
We are actively seeking presenters who are knowledgeable about teaching with Sakai. You don’t need to be a technical expert to share your experiences!
Annual FOSSY Conference

FOSSY (Free and Open Source Yearly) is focused on the creation and impact of free and open source software, uplifting contributors of all experience. We are also mindful of having a safe environment for all. With tracks for education, community building, development and legal and licensing issues, our conference will provide ample learning and networking opportunities for contributors of all levels of experience. We also plan to involve significant community participation in the content of our tracks.
In years past, Apereo Foundation co-led the FOSS for Education track at FOSSY.

OEB (Online Educa Berlin) is the annual global, cross-sector conference and exhibition on digital learning. For more than three decades, OEB has anticipated key developments in learning innovation, helping to frame the debates that continue to shape the field.
Apereo is excited to share that we will be attending OEB (Online Educa Berlin) for the very first time this year—and we hope to see you there.
For more than 30 years, OEB has been at the forefront of digital learning innovation, convening a truly global, cross-sector community of leaders, practitioners, and innovators.
