Opencast Tobria 3.0
The Opencast community and Apereo are excited to announce the release of Tobira 3.0, the latest major update to Opencast's video portal.
This version introduces a host of new features and enhancements, including a dark mode that adapts to your system settings, customizable font options to align with your organization's branding, and a revamped search functionality that allows users to search within video subtitles and slide texts.
Additionally, Tobira 3.0 now supports Opencast playlists, offers basic Matomo integration, enables password protection for videos, and provides users with the ability to manage their own content and access policies. The integrated player has been updated with a new design, quality selection for progressive downloads, and improved support for various video formats. Technical improvements include a more flexible authentication system, configurable workflows for uploaded videos, and performance optimizations.
