Thank You to Our 2025 Exiting Board Members

The Apereo Foundation extends our heartfelt gratitude to four outstanding leaders who have completed their service on the Board of Directors: Salvador Pallicer, Sam Lee Pan, Stuart Phillipson, Thierry Koscielniak  and Wes Turner. Each of these individuals has dedicated their time, expertise, and passion to advancing open source software in higher education, leaving a lasting mark on both our community and our mission.

During their tenure, Salvador, Sam, Stuart, Thierry and Wes helped guide Apereo through a period of significant transition and growth, contributing to Apereo’s new strategic vision and plan, and in line with that direction, which has fostered new initiatives such as Foundation-as-a-Service and OSPO-as-a-Service. Their leadership has been vital in ensuring that Apereo continues to be a trusted steward for open-source innovation, a champion for collaboration across institutions, and a strong advocate for the principles of “for education, by education.”

On behalf of the entire Apereo community, we thank Salvador, Sam, Stuart, Thierry and Wes for their commitment and service. Their dedication has strengthened the Foundation and paved the way for new opportunities to support our member institutions, projects, and the global education technology ecosystem. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors and look forward to their continued involvement in the Apereo community.
