Open Apereo 2020 and Open Apereo 2020 Online showcases the work of Apereo communities that develop and use a range of open source software in the service of education.
We’re continuing to plan Open Apereo 2020 as a hybrid event with a strong online component. In the light of the current public health situation, registration has been amended to enable attendees to register for Open Apereo 2020 Online, and upgrade to full registration if it becomes possible to hold the face to face event in Ann Arbor, Michigan, June 15th to 19th 2020. We’ll make a decision on proceeding with the face to face event on May 20th – around a month ahead of the event. You can find online registration details here conference.apereo.org
We’re making some changes to our published program to mitigate time zone differences across our global community. Essentially, we’re switching the main content of Open Apereo 2020 to fill each morning of the week commencing 15th June. This will allow colleagues from Europe, Africa and similar time zones to participate in a significantly greater proportion of the event. The full program for Open Apereo 2020 and Open Apereo 2020 online will be available this week at conference.apereo.org . If you had submitted a proposal that has been accepted for Open Apereo 2020, you should have had a mail asking if you are prepared to present in an online format.
