Open Apereo 2020 Videos: Software Community Update - Fiosan

Open Apereo 2020 took place fully online between June 15th to June 19th 2020. 

The following video is a status update of the Apereo Foundation supported Software Community, Fiosan. Fiosan is one of four communities taking part in the Apereo Foundation's incubation process

About Fiosan: Fiosan (pronounced Fi-san) aims to transform task-related communications within higher education institutions, through delivering a cross-system solution for personalized notifications and emergency communications, enabling notifications to be created-by and consumed across multiple services and communication channels.

About the presenter: Duncan MacGruer has worked for The University of Edinburgh for over 15 years in a number of user support roles, and has been in web support since 2014. Duncan manages the Portal Services team, which provides a personalized gateway to web-based services within and beyond the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include search engine optimization and interaction, and the ways website analytics can be used to understand users and improve websites.
