Open Apereo 2020 Videos: Software Community Update - OAE

Open Apereo 2020 took place fully online between June 15th to June 19th, 2020. 

The following video is a status update of the Apereo Foundation supported Software Community, OAE: Open Academic Environment.

About OAE: The Open Academic Environment is a powerful new way for researchers, students and faculty to create knowledge, share, collaborate and connect with the world. It is a multi-tenant and highly scalable platform that is able to support multiple institutions at the same time.

About the presenter: Miguel Laginha is the Project lead for the OAE community. He got his master's in computer science in 2006 from the University of Coimbra and he has been crafting software ever since. His most relevant work has been on open mobility data and open science publishing and always making use of open source software and tooling. Apart from programming and designing products, he likes to fiddle with emerging technologies, mentor younger colleagues or just read a good book on behavioural economics.
