Amol Meshram leads Open Source Engineering at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where he oversees the integration of open source technologies into enterprise systems and engineering practices. With over a decade of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, and platform engineering, Amol has helped shape secure, scalable solutions that drive business outcomes. He holds an MSc in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow.
In addition to his technical expertise, Amol is passionate about expanding the adoption of open source technologies in underrepresented communities, particularly in India. He views open source as a catalyst for innovation and empowerment, offering accessible, high-quality tools that enable individuals and organizations to contribute meaningfully to the global tech ecosystem. Amol has been involved in mentoring engineers from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop the skills needed to contribute to open source projects that address societal challenges. His commitment to open source education is reflected in his co-authorship of a course for FINOS (Financial Open Source Foundation), aimed at educating fintech developers on the practical application of open source software within financial institutions.
Through his leadership and advocacy for inclusive, responsible open source practices, Amol works to ensure that open source technologies are not only accessible but also utilized to solve real-world problems. His efforts continue to bridge the gap between software development, community empowerment, and the potential of open source to drive positive change across both the tech industry and society at large.
