Heather Greer Klein is the Community Manager for the Samvera Community, an Apereo Foundation project that develops and maintains a suite of digital repository platforms and related tools. In this role since 2020, she fosters collaboration among librarians, technologists, developers, repository managers, and institutional leaders while advancing community engagement and supporting governance and organizational sustainability.
Heather has over 15 years of experience facilitating cross-institutional cooperation in support of shared digital technology, for both library consortia and open source communities. She holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons University and a graduate certificate in Adult Training & Development from NC State University. She lives in Durham, North Carolina.
