Jenn began her career as a meeting professional in 2002 and has worked alongside Apereo and its predecessor organizations for 20+ years. She has a knack for learning new skills and working with diverse groups of people, and she especially enjoys community and volunteer leadership. She has spent the vast majority of her career working with open source, library and higher education technology organizations.
Jenn serves as Apereo’s Community & Membership Manager, a role that encompasses communication, event planning, advocacy, and a whole lot of “institutional knowledge” (otherwise known as email hoarding).
Jenn holds a B.A. in Hospitality, Meeting, and Travel Administration from Metropolitan State University (Denver, CO). She lives in the greater Denver area along with her spouse, daughter, and Great Dane. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, skiing, crocheting, cooking, reading, and enjoying all of the sunshine in Colorado.
